 In the
heart
of historic Suffolk the Framlingham Crown Hotel is a fine example of a
sixteenth century English coaching inn. Built in
1553 the hotel has
been sympathetically restored and upgraded retaining its heritage and many architectural
features. We have 14 deluxe en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, and lounge.
There is a secluded
courtyard, and outside tables overlooking the Market Hill offering the perfect surroundings to enjoy table served refreshments in the Suffolk sunshine.
The hotel is just a few minutes walk from
Framlingham Castle.
Our restaurant
is open to both residents and non-residents serving freshly prepared meals from
12noon until 9pm.
At the heart of Framlingham The Crown
is well known for its welcoming atmosphere and makes an ideal base from which to explore the heritage coast and
the other attractions of coastal and high Suffolk.
